Allen has over 35 years of experience in property management and leasing for both urban and rural housing. Prior to acquiring Associated Management & Leasing Services (a division of West End Management & Leasing Services) , Allen served as President of Gundaker West End Realty, Inc. a division of
Coldwell BankerGundaker. Allen has been involved in multi-family housing and property management
since 1971. In addition to owning his own company, AJY Management Group from 1981-1997, he has been an officer and director of national and state housing associations including The Council for Rural Housing and Development (1988-1992) and The Illinois Rural Rental Housing Association (1987-1990). In addition, he served as a member of the Chesterfield, Missouri Parks Committee (1994-1995). From 1995 to
1999, Allen was a member of the Chesterfield Planning and Zoning Commission. During
1995 he served as Secretary of the Commission.
Allen holds a State of Missouri real estate broker license and is currently a member of
the St. Louis Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. He is a
native of St. Louis and a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis.
